Dear partners in Christ,

After our International Executive Board meeting in Ghana, Songe Chibambo, Emmanuel Kopwe and I proceeded to Liberia for an exploratory visit. Amazing things were already happening in that great country. Various churches in the city have caught the vision after AE’s visit last year with Nii Amoo Darku. Churches have gone ahead to form committees before the formal invitation has even been extended to us. How glorious to see churches so excited and coming together to reach their people for Jesus.

We then checked in on the progress of our Bujumbura, Burundi Mission, AE’s other major mission focus this year. Please pray for the Bujumbura mission taking place August 10-17, 2008. We thank God that Bujumbura church leaders and congregations have gone through many seminars on Inner Healing and Reconciliation in the past ten years with our brother Emmanuel Kopwe. It is a ministry which has changed lives and brought the Rebel Army to integrate with the Government Army without conflict. Many different ethnic groups have gone through a number of sessions in the Inner Healing and Reconciliation workshops. As reported last December, it was a joy to minister to both the Police and the Army who were once at loggerheads. This time they were all having meals together with lots of jokes and laughter among them. This can only be done by the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ which transforms lives. Hence this August is a mission to Bujumbura where we will be reaching out to every sector of the city as the whole African Enterprise family converges in one city for one purpose.

We are like “Jesus donkeys” carrying our Lord Jesus from point A to point B. We need you and all our friends to feed these donkeys with carrots of prayer and financial support. We can achieve great things for God as you partner with us in this Great Commission in winning Monrovia and Bujumbura for Jesus.

Indeed the Lord does not worry about the widow’s mite, because He uses that widow’s mite to transform lives. I would like to take this opportunity to come boldly to you, our prayer partners, and ask for financial support to enable us to buy airline tickets, food and transportation for our upcoming missions.
