Kabala Mission Celebrates East African Revival

Tuesday, April 19, 2005

The mission to Kabale which our Uganda team is hosting August 31 through September 21 is seeking $12,000 towards this. The mission marks the 80th year celebration of the East African revival giving it an important historic and celebratory nature. As such, speaking invitations have been given to Uganda's First Lady, Mrs. Janet Museveni and Uganda's Anglican Archbishop, Henry Orombi. 45,000 people are expected to attend the closing meeting.

Uganda's revival has been God's answer to many terrible injustices and atrocities in the nation, particularly during the dictatorships of Idi Amin and Milton Obote. Despite these hardships the Church has grown very srong.
