The Role of a Godly Mother is an Awesome Responsibility

Pietermaritzburg - Phineas Dube spoke recently to a large group of women on the subject "Born for a Purpose."   He said it is mothers who teach their children how to be compassionate godly human beings.  Quoting from Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Phineas reminded them it is their responsibility to impress upon their children the commandment to "love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."

Phineas said "purpose is God's will for your life, what you were born to do", and that mothers are perfect for the purpose for which God designed them physically, mentally and spiritually. Purpose, he said, was more powerful than plans, and that the only plan that will succeed is God¹s plan for one¹s life.

Phineas returns annually from Zimbabwe to minister in Pietermaritzburg, working with the Local Church Resource (LCR) led by David Peters and his team of committed volunteers.
